Sung-Young Lee is a Senior Advisor at LK PARTNERS with extensive experience in real estate appraisal, urban redevelopment, and real estate policy. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture (with a minor in Law) from Seoul National University, a Master of Business Administration from the KDI School of Public Policy and Management, and completed the Advanced Management Program at Seoul National University. Mr. Lee spent approximately 35 years at the Korea Real Estate Board (formerly the Korea Appraisal Board), serving in senior positions including Headquarters Director, Director of the Planning & Coordination Office, Director of the Innovation Strategy Office, Director of the Research & Development Office, and Branch Director. Through these roles, he developed comprehensive expertise across real estate valuation, urban redevelopment support, real estate finance, and policy research. Mr. Lee holds multiple professional credentials, including the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute (USA), Real Estate Financial Asset Management Specialist, Big Data Specialist (Level 1), Investment Management Professional, Certified Urban Redevelopment Project Manager, and Licensed Real Estate Agent. He has also contributed to public-sector policy as an advisor to the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Local Tax and Environmental Policy Committees, the Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements (KRIHS), and as a real estate review and proposal evaluation committee member for various district offices including Gangnam-gu and Yongsan-gu. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at LK PARTNERS, Mr. Lee advises on feasibility analysis, estimated contribution calculations, construction cost verification, and reasonableness reviews of management and disposition plans for urban redevelopment projects, while also conducting research and education in real estate policy.
